Unearthly colours begin to show in the sky. So far it seemed just another dawn, albeit bizarre northern lights –of an intense bloody red– are gloomily taking over.
Many have come out just for a last chance to meet. At first, they would only speak in subdued whispers, but these have soon become lively conversations. No one would say this is far from normal.
I adjust my watch: barely two hours left for the end. It is hard to believe this is really happening. We’ve been told, though, how it would go: birds would stop chirping and wind would cease.
